Our Celebrations

SunnySpot Celebrations was hired to create the Opening Night Party for NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812, starring Denée Benton and Josh Groban. The theme for the party was a mix of traditional Russian motif along with an edgy atmosphere to match the style of the show. We took over 3 floors of the amazing Plaza Hotel, creating an exciting entry on the first floor, with the step and repeat in the Palm Court, which led up to the second floor Terrace Room, with a Russian band playing traditional Russian music, surrounded in stunning red lighting to set the mood of the party. Guests were then led up to the 3rd floor Ballroom, where we had an edgy pop band that kept the guests dancing up until the last minute – begging for “one more song!”
